CDL-A Tanker Driver, Local & Regional — Up to $90K+, $10,000 Sign-On

Our company is a family-owned food-grade tanker carrier based in Morristown, IN, hauling products like soybean oil, corn syrup, and chocolate for major food manufacturers. They're hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for local and regional routes with multiple home visits each week.

Pay

• Top earners make $90,000+ a year; average drivers bring home $70,000-$80,000+

• Weekly guaranteed pay, paid by direct deposit

• $10,000 sign-on bonus

• $75 paid for overnight DOT breaks spent in the truck

• Paid orientation and tanker training, at $200 per day

Home time

• Home multiple times per week

• Mostly afternoon and evening start times

• A mix of local out-and-back runs and regional trips, with fewer overnights than typical OTR work

• Option to stay out 2-3 nights for longer loads that pay more

• Parking for your truck available at home or at the terminal

What you'll haul

• Food-grade tanker freight, including soybean oil, corn syrup, and chocolate products

• A combination of drop-and-hook and live loading/unloading

• You'll run late-model trucks equipped with free XM Radio

• Some opportunities to drive at night with lighter traffic

What the job involves

• Hauling food-grade tanker loads safely

• Keeping ELD logs and paperwork accurate

• Doing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Staying in professional contact with dispatch and customers

• Following FMCSA rules and company safety policies

• Planning routes and managing your time well

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 12 months of recent tractor-trailer experience

• 21 years or older

• Clean driving record and good MVR

• Tanker endorsement required (reimbursement available after you're hired)

• Must pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and ergo/capability test

• Able to read, write, and speak English
