Pay

• Top earners make $90,000+ a year; average drivers bring home $70,000 to $80,000+

What you'll haul

• Food-grade tanker loads such as soybean oil, corn syrup and chocolate products

• A mix of drop-and-hook and live loading/unloading

• Assigned late-model trucks equipped with free XM Radio

• Some lower-traffic night driving available

• Reimbursement programs offered once you're hired

What the job involves

• Hauling food-grade tanker freight safely

• Keeping ELD logs and trip paperwork accurate

• Doing pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Staying in close contact with dispatch and customers

• Following FMCSA and company safety rules

• Planning your routes and time well

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 12 months of recent experience driving tractor-trailers

• At least 21 years old

• Clean driving record and good MVR

• Tanker endorsement required

• Must pass a DOT physical, drug screen and an ergonomic/capability test

• Able to read, write and speak English
