CDL-A Student Driver Trainee — Average $180/day, Home Weekends

Our company in Corpus Christi, TX is looking for student drivers to train into a Class A CDL route driving career. You'll learn to operate a tractor-trailer while delivering freight by hand, with paid training to get your CDL and a clear path to becoming a Route Driver.

What you'll do

• Deliver and hand-unload 600-1,200 cases per day at scheduled stops

• Train to operate a tractor-trailer

• Work directly with customers on your route

Schedule

• Monday through Friday

• Dispatch between 3:00 am and 5:00 am, working until the route is finished

• Home on weekends

Pay

• Average $180 per day ($900 per week) during the student program

• Once promoted to Route Driver, average yearly income is $65,000-$90,000

• Driver referral bonus up to $1,500 after you're hired

• $12,000 retention bonus paid after 3 years

Equipment

Trucks are new, automatic-transmission models equipped with adaptive braking, collision mitigation, lane departure warnings, and tire pressure monitoring on all tires.

Requirements

• Valid Texas Class A Permit or Texas Class A CDL

• Proof you're eligible to work in the United States

• Must pass a background check, motor vehicle report review, drug screen, and physical
