CDL-A Southwest Regional Driver — Home Every 2 Weeks, $1,000/wk Guaranteed

Based near East Las Vegas, this regional route keeps you running a Nevada-Arizona-Utah-California triangle without straying far from home. New CDL-A grads are welcome and get paid through training.

Pay

• Training pays $800 a week

• Once solo, your first 3 months are guaranteed at least $1,000 a week

• After that, expect $1,000 to $1,200 a week

• You'll run 1,900 to 2,000 miles weekly

• Stops pay $15 each

• Paid out weekly by direct deposit

Home time

You're back every two weeks, and sometimes your 34-hour reset falls at home too.

What you'll haul

The work is drop-and-hook along with live loading and unloading, all within the southwest triangle lanes.

Getting started

A recruiter will walk through your CDL and driving history with you by phone. Orientation runs up to 2 days, with your hotel covered, your one-way bus fare reimbursed, and a $300 payment once you're hired. From there you'll spend 4 to 6 weeks riding with a mentor who covers backing, trip planning, logs and fueling, and you're paid $800 a week throughout. You'll then get your own truck, averaging about 1.5 years old, either automatic or 10-speed, and your pay won't fall below $1,000 a week for your first 3 months running solo.

Requirements

• Age 21 or older with a Class A CDL

• New drivers need 120+ hours of CDL school; without that, 6 months of recent driving experience is required

• Up to 2 moving violations allowed in the past 2 years, no DUI or DWI in the past 10

• Must clear a DOT physical along with a hair and urine drug screen
