CDL-A Solo OTR Truck Driver — Drop-and-Hook, $0.65/Mile

This is a solo OTR job hauling freight for Forward Air under a leased fleet arrangement; the company you'd work for is not Forward Air itself. You'd run terminal-to-terminal drop-and-hook routes.

Pay

• $0.65 per loaded mile

• Average weekly earnings of $1,400–$1,600, though this isn't guaranteed and depends on your loaded miles

• Paid weekly by direct deposit

• $2,000 sign-on bonus

• Company fuel card provided

Home time

• You earn one day home for each week you're out

• If you're out at least 21 days, you get 3 days home

Equipment

• 2025 Freightliner with automatic transmission

• 72-inch sleeper

• Refrigerator and microwave onboard

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 6 months of OTR tractor-trailer experience

• Must be at least 23 years old

• Clean MVR and background check

• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen

• DMV Self-Certification must be set to "Non-Excepted Interstate"
