About this job
Our company is hiring full-time CDL-A drivers for FedEx Ground linehaul work out of its Binghamton, NY terminal. Two openings are available: an unassigned team run and a dedicated solo night run with home daily time.
Pay
- From $0.95 per mile
- Paid weekly
- Paid training
Unassigned team run
- Full-time team position, running linehaul loads as assignments come up
- Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday
- Newer 2024 trucks
- Based out of the Binghamton, NY terminal
Dedicated solo night run
- Full-time local dedicated run, Sunday to Friday
- Start time is 9:30 PM, with shifts typically running about 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM
- Roughly 2,000 miles a week
- Fixed route: Binghamton, NY to Woodbridge, NJ and back
- Home daily
What you'll haul and do
- Drop and hook freight, no-touch
- Pull tractor-trailers, including doubles where the run calls for it
- Inspect your truck before and after each trip
- Keep your logs and paperwork accurate
- Follow dispatch instructions and report delays, arrivals and equipment problems
- Follow DOT rules and company policies, plus other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- Doubles/Triples endorsement, or willingness to get one
- No accidents or tickets on your driving record in the past 3 years
- Age 21 or older
- Pass a background check, MVR screening, FMCSA Clearinghouse check and drug test
- Able to follow instructions and finish the required training
