CDL-A Shuttle Driver (Doubles) — $60,000–$70,000/yr + $5,000 Sign-On

Our company is hiring a CDL-A Shuttle Driver with a Doubles endorsement in Mansfield, TX. You will move empty trailers to the company's warehouses and bring loaded trailers back to shuttle yards. The work is on the night shift.

Pay

• $60,000 to $70,000 a year.

• Quarterly performance incentive of $450 with a $200 kicker, adding up to $2,000 if you earn all four quarters.

• $5,000 sign-on bonus, terms apply. Anyone who worked for a Performance Food Group company in the last 6 months does not qualify.

Schedule

• Sunday through Friday, running 1 to 3 trips. Dispatch falls between 2:30pm and 12am depending on the load.

• The qualifications call for 3rd shift, Sunday to Thursday nights, and note that schedules may vary.

• 5 weeks of training in Temple, TX.

What you'll do

• Drive a tandem trailer, tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes in line with DOT rules.

• Do pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any safety issues or needed repairs.

• Hook and unhook trailers, check that freight is loaded and secured, and park equipment in the designated areas.

• Pick up damaged goods and customer returns and finish the paperwork at base.

• Keep your hours-of-service log and keep the cab, dock area and trailers clean.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A with Doubles endorsement.

• 6 to 12 months of commercial driving experience.

• Age 21 or older, and a high school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.

• Clean motor vehicle report for the last 3 years.

• Pass a drug test and a road test.

• Current DOT medical card, or ability to get one.

• Able to lift and move cases of about 60 to 90 pounds with a two-wheeler, lift gate or similar equipment.
