CDL-A Regional Truck Driver — Weekly Home Time, Up to $110,000/Year

Our company is looking for a regional CDL-A driver based out of Douglas, GA. You'll run regional routes with freight that's no-touch, get home weekly with consecutive days off, and have a strong first-year earning potential.

Pay

• First-year earnings can reach up to $110,000

• You're paid a fixed rate per mile, between $0.55 and $0.69 per mile, plus activity pay for things like hooking, loading, unloading, layovers, bridge crossings, and weekend miles

• Some situations (breakdowns, weather closures, wait time, and similar) pay activity pay only, without the mileage rate

• Average Daily Pay of $240 per day applies in certain situations, like PTO, safety days, holidays, bereavement, or jury duty

• Drivers on this route average between 62,355 and 196,040 miles per year, though actual pay and miles depend on location and miles driven

• Quarterly safety bonuses and annual raises are part of the package

• You're home every week, with consecutive days off

What you'll haul

• No-touch freight deliveries

What the job involves

• Planning your day, coordinating with your team, and keeping freight moving safely and on schedule

• Communicating clearly and adjusting to changes on the road

• Completing paperwork and electronic logs correctly, following DOT, state, and company rules

• Inspecting your tractor-trailer before, during, and after trips

• Running efficient routes while following traffic laws and local restrictions

• Representing our company's standards for safety and professionalism

Requirements

• Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement, or willingness to get the endorsement (with a cleared background check) within 120 days of hire

• At least 30 months of full-time Class A tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 3 years, or completion of the our company Fleet Development Academy Program

• No more than 2 moving violations in a personal or commercial vehicle over the last 3 years

• No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years

• No preventable collisions in the last 3 years

• No preventable DOT-recordable accidents (disabling damage or injuries requiring medical treatment away from the scene) in the last 10 years

• No preventable accident resulting in a fatality or catastrophic injury on your record

• You must live within 250 miles of the Douglas, GA facility, or be willing to relocate there within 90 days of hire

• Preventability of accidents is determined by our company using ATA Guidelines
