CDL-A Regional Truck Driver — Up to $110,000/Year, Weekly Home Time

Our company is growing its private fleet in Lewiston, ME and looking for a Class A CDL driver for a regional route. You get home weekly, drive modern equipment, and haul no-touch freight.

Pay

• First-year earnings can reach up to $110,000.

• You're paid a fixed mileage rate of $0.55 - $0.69 per mile, plus extra activity pay for tasks like hooking, live loading/unloading, layovers, weekend miles, and more.

• Average annual miles range from 62,355 to 196,040, though your actual pay depends on location and miles driven.

• Some tasks (such as accidents, breakdowns, weather delays, or wait time) are paid as activity pay only, without the mileage rate.

• You may also receive Average Daily Pay of $240 per day for things like PTO, holidays, safety days, bereavement, or jury duty.

• Quarterly safety bonuses and yearly pay raises are part of the package.

Home time

• You're home every week, with consecutive days off.

What you'll haul

• Freight is no-touch, so you won't be loading or unloading it yourself.

• You'll run optimized regional routes, following traffic laws and local restrictions to stay on schedule.

What the job involves

• Operate your tractor-trailer safely, inspecting it before, during, and after trips.

• Keep accurate paperwork and electronic logs, following all DOT, state, and company rules.

• Plan your day, coordinate with your team, and adjust to changes on the road.

• Maintain our company's safety and professionalism standards at all times.

Requirements

• Class A CDL valid for interstate driving, with a Hazmat endorsement (or willingness to get one, with a cleared background check, within 120 days of hire).

• At least 30 months of full-time Class A tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years, or completion of the our company Fleet Development Academy Program.

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years, in a personal or commercial vehicle.

• No serious traffic violations in the past 3 years.

• No preventable collisions in the past 3 years, and no preventable DOT-recordable accidents (ones causing disabling damage or requiring immediate medical treatment away from the scene) in the past 10 years.

• No history of a preventable accident resulting in a fatality or catastrophic injury.

• You must currently live within 250 miles of the assigned facility, or be willing to move within that range within 90 days of hire. Our company determines accident preventability using ATA Guidelines.
