CDL-A Regional Truck Driver — Up to $110,000 First Year, Weekly Home Time

Our company is looking for a regional CDL-A tractor-trailer driver to run out of its Valdosta, GA facility. You'll get consecutive days off every week and the chance to earn up to $110,000 in your first year, hauling no-touch freight.

Pay

• Paid by the mile, at a rate of $0.55-$0.69 per mile, with average annual mileage between 62,355 and 196,040 (actual pay depends on location and miles driven).

• On top of mileage pay, you can earn extra for things like hooking, live loads and unloads, layovers, stops, bridge pay, weekend miles, evening shift premiums and more.

• Some non-driving situations (accidents, breakdowns, weather closures, waiting time, and similar) are paid as activity pay only, without the mileage rate.

• For qualifying full-day events such as holidays, PTO, safety days, bereavement or jury duty, you'll receive Average Day's Pay of $240 per day, on top of other pay earned.

• Quarterly safety bonuses and annual raises are part of the package.

Home time

• Home every week, with consecutive days off.

What you'll haul

• No-touch freight deliveries on a regional route.

What you'll do

• Plan your own day and coordinate with your team to keep freight on schedule and moving safely.

• Keep accurate paperwork and electronic logs, following all DOT, state and company rules.

• Inspect your tractor-trailer before, during and after trips, and drive it safely at all times.

• Choose efficient routes while obeying traffic laws and local restrictions to stay on time.

• Represent our company's safety and professionalism standards on every trip.

Requirements

• Class A CDL with a Hazmat endorsement (passed background check), or willingness to obtain one within 120 days of hire.

• At least 30 months of full-time Class A tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 3 years.

• No more than 2 moving violations in a personal or commercial vehicle over the past 3 years.

• No serious traffic violations in the past 3 years.

• No preventable accidents in the past 3 years, and no preventable DOT-recordable crashes (with disabling damage or medical treatment away from the scene) in the past 10 years.

• No history of a preventable accident resulting in a fatality or catastrophic injury.

• You must live within 250 miles of the Valdosta, GA facility, or be willing to relocate within that distance within 90 days of hire.

• our company determines whether an accident was preventable using ATA guidelines.
