CDL-A Regional Truck Driver — $10,000 Sign-On, Up to $110,000/yr

Our company's private fleet is hiring a CDL-A driver for regional runs out of Auburn, IN. You'll get paid for more than just miles, run on a predictable schedule, and drive modern equipment hauling no-touch freight.

Pay

• $10,000 sign-on bonus

• Regional drivers can earn up to $110,000 in their first year

• Mileage rate of $0.55-$0.69 per mile, with average annual miles ranging from 62,355 to 196,040 (actual pay varies by location and miles driven)

• Extra activity pay on top of mileage rate for things like hooking, live loads/unloads, layovers, weekend miles, bridge pay and evening shift premium

• Activity-only pay for situations like accidents, breakdowns, weather closures, rejected trailer cleaning, or wait time

• Average Day's Pay of $240/day applies for PTO, safety days, holidays, bereavement, jury duty and similar full-day events

• Quarterly safety bonuses and annual raises

Home time

• Home weekly, with consecutive days off each week

What you'll haul

• No-touch freight deliveries on regional routes

What you'll do

• Plan your route and schedule, coordinate with your team, and keep freight moving safely and on time

• Complete all logs and paperwork correctly and follow DOT, state and company rules

• Inspect your tractor-trailer before, during and after trips

• Drive efficient routes while following traffic laws and local restrictions

• Represent our company's safety and professionalism standards on every trip

Requirements

• Class A CDL valid for interstate driving, with a Hazmat endorsement (cleared background check) or willingness to get one within 120 days of hire

• At least 30 months of full-time Class A tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years, or completion of the our company Fleet Development Academy Program

• No more than 2 moving violations in personal or commercial vehicles over the past 3 years, and no serious traffic violations in that time

• No preventable collisions in personal or commercial vehicles in the past 3 years, and no preventable DOT-recordable accidents (disabling damage or injury requiring treatment away from the scene) in the past 10 years

• No history of a preventable accident resulting in a fatality or catastrophic injury

• Must live within 250 miles of the Auburn, IN facility, or be willing to relocate within that radius within 90 days of hire
