About this job
Our company is looking for a two-person team to run regional freight out of Danville, VA in a sleeper tractor pulling 48' and 53' dry vans. Freight is no-touch packing supplies, delivered to CO, CA, UT and the Central US.
Pay
- Team miles pay: $0.69 split per mile, based on 6000 miles per week
- Team stops pay: $15.00 split per stop, based on 4 stops per week
- Drop and hook pay: $10.00 split per drop/hook
- Typical weekly team earnings run $2000-$2200
- Paid weekly, plus paid training
Home time
You leave out Sunday or Monday and return Friday or Saturday. Start times vary.
What you'll haul
No-touch packing supplies in 48' or 53' dry van trailers, pulled with a sleeper tractor that's 36 months old or newer.
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL with the right endorsements
- 9 months of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5, OR 5 years in the last 10
- Pass a drug screen, background check, MVR review and DOT physical
- Pass a road test
- Able to follow instructions and apply relevant regulations
Bonuses
- $1250 sign-on bonus at 30 days and another $1250 at 90 days
