CDL-A Regional Reefer Driver — 10-14 Days Out, $1200-$1400/Week

This regional reefer position runs drivers through TX, OK, LA, AR, MO, IN, IA, NE, IL, KS, CO, OH and NM for a nationwide carrier. You'll be out 10-14 days at a stretch, hauling no-touch freight with drop & hook and live load/unload stops.

Pay

• Paid on all miles

• Starting rate: $0.50 CPM, rising to $0.51 CPM after 6 months and $0.52 CPM after 12 months

• Drivers with prior experience: $0.56 CPM (2 years or less), $0.57 CPM (3-4 years), $0.58 CPM (5-6 years), $0.59 CPM (7+ years)

• $20.00 per stop

• Average haul length is 400 miles, with 2200-2400 miles per week

• Typical weekly earnings run $1200-$1400

• Trainees earn a flat $700 per week during a 4-week training period

• Experienced drivers get a $3,000 sign-on bonus, paid out at $300 per month over 10 months

Home time

You'll get 1 day off for every 6 days on the road, up to 4 days off at a time.

What you'll haul

Reefer freight, no-touch, with drop & hook and live load/unload. Trucks are new automatic Freightliner Cascadias.

Requirements

• CDL required

• Either 1 year of 53' tractor trailer OTR experience within the last 3 years, or 6 months OTR experience plus 120 hours from an accredited truck driving school completed in the past 6 months

• Trainees with no experience are welcome, provided they are within 6 months of finishing CDL school

• TWIC card required (the carrier helps you get one and covers the costs)

• No criminal history, drug or alcohol violations

• No preventable accidents or moving violations, ever

• Clean MVR, no tickets

• Your CDL address must match the hiring area

• Urine drug screening only, no SAP drivers
