CDL-A Regional OTR Driver — $350/Day, Out 1–2 Weeks

Our company is looking for a seasoned OTR driver out of Boise, ID to haul dry van freight throughout the Pacific Northwest. You'll run a new truck and spend 1-2 weeks on the road between home stretches.

Pay

• $350.00 per day flat, paid out weekly

• Yearly bonuses tied to safety and performance

Home time

• Trips keep you away for 1-2 weeks before heading back

Routes and freight

• Lanes run through Utah, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and California

• You'll pull dry van trailers

• Some stops call for loading and unloading items up to 70 lbs by hand

Requirements

• Class A CDL, held 2 years minimum — a firm insurance rule, no way around it

• Must be able to handle winter roads and mountain passes, and know the DOT rules for crossing them

• Doubles/Triples endorsement helps but isn't required

• Clean record on both your driving history and background check

• Able to pass a DOT physical, a background screen and a drug test

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Physically able to get in and out of the cab, plus walk, bend, stand and climb as the job requires

• Need a cell phone with working voice and data for staying in touch on the job

• Comfortable talking with customers and warehouse or store staff, and entering updates on a handheld device
