CDL-A Regional Driver Trainee — Paid Mentorship, $0.55/mi After Upgrade

Our company is looking for newly licensed CDL-A drivers to join a paid trainee program in Fernley, NV. You'll spend four weeks working one-on-one with a mentor before moving into solo regional driving, with a possible shift to dedicated or regional lanes around the nine-month mark.

Training

• Four-week, one-on-one paid mentorship covering trip planning, safe driving, hours-of-service rules, time management and customer service

• Progress checkpoints along the way, with recognition for standout trainees

• Once you move to solo status, you're assigned a late-model tractor equipped with current technology

Pay

• After you upgrade to solo, pay is $0.55 per loaded mile

• Typical weekly mileage runs around 2,500 miles, translating to roughly $1,375 to $1,550 per week

• Mileage rate steps up at the 3, 6 and 12 month marks after training ends

• Safety and performance bonuses available

• $1,000 sign-on bonus paid out after you upgrade to solo

• $500 bonus at 90 days post-upgrade

• CDL school tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 for those who qualify

Home time

Lane assignments and time at home depend on the account and current business needs; both regional and dedicated lanes are available to trainees and graduates.

Requirements

• Current Class A CDL

• No over-the-road experience needed — this program is built for recent grads

• Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT qualifications

• Must pass background and Clearinghouse screening

• Ready to learn, follow safety rules and act professionally on the road
