CDL-A Regional Driver — Dedicated Family Dollar Fleet — $1,400/Week Guarantee

Drive a dedicated Family Dollar account out of St. George, UT, hauling 53' dry van freight across twelve Western states. You'll unload using rollers, climbing in and out of the trailer, so this suits drivers who stay active on the job.

Routes

• Freight originates in St. George, UT and delivers to customer sites in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming

• Unloading is done by hand using rollers, with climbing in and out of the trailer

Schedule and home time

• Shifts begin at 06:00 am and can run up to 14 hours

• You're home weekly for a 34-hour reset

• Days off shift with freight volume but typically land on weekdays

• Las Vegas-based drivers work a 2-weeks-out, 3-days-home rotation

Equipment

• Tandem-axle sleeper trucks supplied by the company, automatic transmission

• 53' dry van trailers

• Newer fleet, well maintained

Pay

• Paid per mile plus per load, with a bonus for safe, on-time runs

• Weekly minimum of $1,400 guaranteed if you have no accidents, no service failures or refusals, and are available 5.5 days

• Layover pay: $200 per day for a 24-hour layover

• Breakdown pay: $200 per day for a 24-hour breakdown

• Retraining pay: $200 per day

• Backhaul pickup: $25 per load

• St. George backhaul pickup: $15 per load, plus $15 for dunnage

• Mentor pay: $50 per day, up to $250 per week

• Mentor road test pay: $50 per test

• Clean DOT inspection bonus: $25

• Safe and on-time bonus: up to 3% weekly

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Minimum age 21

• At least 3 months of recent Class A CDL driving experience
