About this job
Our company is hiring CDL-A drivers based in the Reno, NV area to run Port of Oakland loads and regional truckload freight across California and Nevada. Port runs get you home daily, while truckload trips keep you out 2-3 days at a time.
Pay
- Starting at $0.71 per mile, with total pay from $78,000 per year
- Extra pay for overnight stays and for chaining up
- Compensation for delays at terminals and customer locations
Home time
- Home every day on Port of Oakland runs
- 2-3 days out when hauling regional truckload freight
Equipment
- Freightliner Cascadia Evolution trucks with 48 inch sleepers
- You keep your own assigned truck, no swapping with other drivers
- Equipment is kept in top condition by an in-house mechanic team
