About this job
Exo Group maintains and repairs public infrastructure like lighting poles and transmission towers across the U.S. In this role you'll drive a heavy combo rig to job sites and physically replace utility poles alongside a crew.
Pay
- $28.00 per hour
Where you'll work
- Based out of Magnolia, TX, with travel to job sites for pole replacement work
What you'll do
- Drive an F-350 pulling a 40-foot pole trailer, rated up to 40,000 lbs GVW
- Secure and transport poles and equipment to work sites
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Keep mileage logs, fuel receipts and delivery paperwork current
- Remove old poles and install new ones using cranes and hand tools
- Work with electricians, supervisors and customers to keep projects moving
Requirements
- Class A CDL
- MT/VT crane operator qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pole replacement, construction or related experience is a plus
- Comfortable with physical labor, climbing, and working outdoors in all weather
- Familiarity with FMCSA safety rules
