About this job
Our company is looking for a part-time CDL-A solo driver to run a dedicated FedEx linehaul route between Fort Wayne and Greenwood, based out of New Haven, IN. This is steady contract work with overnight hours and no freight handling.
Pay
- $1,000 per week
Schedule
- Required days: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
- Typical working hours run from 12:00 AM to 5:30 AM
- Note: the posting also mentions availability needed Monday through Friday from 2pm-8pm, so confirm exact scheduling with the employer
What you'll haul
- Daily run of about 275 miles between Fort Wayne and Greenwood
- Freight is 100% no-touch: you won't load, unload, or handle customer deliveries or signatures
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 1 year of CDL-A driving experience
- Doubles/Triples (T) endorsement
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Basic English communication skills for the job
- Clean driving and safety record
