About this job
WW Rowland Trucking is looking for CDL-A Owner Operators who already own a qualifying tractor to run port, intermodal, rail-yard, and regional freight out of Houston. You'd be home daily with no forced dispatch and no start-up fees.
Pay
- Average weekly gross of $3,500-$4,500 (actual earnings depend on freight availability, load acceptance, and your operating costs)
- $2,500 sign-on bonus (ask a recruiter about current eligibility and payout terms)
- $1,500 referral bonus
- Weekly settlements with direct deposit
- Fuel surcharge paid, plus a Comdata fuel card and fuel discount program
Home time
- Home-daily opportunities
What you'll haul
- Mostly port and rail-yard container work: 20-foot, 40-foot, and 53-foot containers
- Dry van freight also available
- Local Houston-area routes plus regional Texas lanes, with runs into Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas
Requirements
- You must own your own qualifying truck
- Valid CDL-A and current medical certification
- At least 23 years old
- Intermodal experience preferred, but training is available if you don't have it
