CDL-A Owner-Operator OTR Driver — Average $3.84/Mile, No Touch

Our company is looking for solo and team owner-operators to run time-critical expedited freight, mostly east of I-35. The company is based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with another office in Laredo, Texas, and hauls for major customers including automotive companies.

Pay

• Average $3.84 per mile and $7,500+ gross per week before deductions (posted range $4,000 - $10,000 a week)

• Settlement is a 75/25 split, with fuel, ELD fees and escrow deducted

• Optional deductions: bobtail insurance, IFTA, Prepass, occupational accident insurance and plates through the Indiana IRP

• Ask about the free 2026 IRP plate program

• This is a 1099 contractor role, so you cover your own insurance, health coverage and taxes

What you'll haul

• No-touch expedited auto parts, average load under 20,000 lbs

• Company-provided 53' dry vans, about half of them drop and hook

• About 1,500-2,000+ miles per week per driver

• Lanes run mainly east of I-35 and serve manufacturing sites; no Upper East or Far West Coast. Canada runs are available if you want them but are not required

Home time

• Out about 2-3 weeks at a time, with extra home time when you need it; getting home every two or three weeks depends on where you are based

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and a current DOT physical

• 24 months of recent, verifiable Class A experience

• Your own truck (leased units are fine)

• A strong driving record and DOT compliance focus
