About this job
Our company has been moving freight since 1968, including steel, metals, paper and automotive parts for major suppliers and mills. They're looking for owner-operators to run dedicated, round-trip loads hauling Ford automotive parts across the Midwest. You'll need to supply your own truck.
What you'll haul
- Dedicated, round-trip Ford automotive parts freight
- Power only setup, so you won't need your own trailer or cover ELD costs
- No-touch freight
Routes
- Chicago Heights, IL to Kansas City, MO
- Kansas City, MO to Wentzville, MO
- Hopkinsville, KY to Kansas City, MO
Pay
- Paid per mile plus a fuel surcharge
- Weekly pay by direct deposit, starting after an initial holdback
- Listed range: $1,500.00 to $3,800.00 per week
Requirements
- At least 22 years old
- Minimum 18 months of verifiable experience driving 48 to 53 foot tractor trailers (2 years of truck driving experience overall)
- Valid CDL Class A
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 12 months
- Clean of drug or alcohol offenses in the clearinghouse for the past 5 years
- English required
- Must own a 2011 or newer truck, with proof of ownership (front and back of title) and a current DOT annual inspection less than 45 days old
- Subject to standard DOT rules and regulations
