About this job
Illini Logistics is looking for CDL-A independent contractors to run dedicated local routes out of Rock Island, IL. You'll work contracted lanes with established customers and be home every day. All shifts are available, with schedules running either Monday through Friday or Sunday through Thursday.
Pay
- Daily contract rate of $250-$300 (wage range listed as $280.00-$300.00 per day)
- Settlements paid weekly by direct deposit
- This is a 1099 independent contractor role, so rates are contract-based rather than hourly wages
Home time
- Home daily on all routes
What you'll haul
- Industrial, agricultural, and automotive parts
- Freight may be touch or no-touch, depending on the specific route you're assigned
What the contract involves
- Running your assigned routes on schedule
- Meeting customer delivery requirements and safety standards
- Handling loading duties and completing deliveries safely and efficiently
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT medical card
- At least 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Minimum age of 21
