About this job
Our company is looking for owner operators to haul containers out of their Savannah, GA terminal. This intermodal carrier has served the eastern seaboard since 1970 and runs a network of 200+ trucks, with local and regional freight available.
Pay
- $2,000 sign-on bonus
- $1.50 per mile plus $0.48 per mile fuel surcharge, for a total of $1.98 per mile on all miles
- Flat rate pay offered for shorter local hauls
- Weekly pay with direct deposit available
Home time
- Home nights and weekends
- No forced dispatch - you pick your own routes each day
What you'll haul
- Containers, with no-touch freight
- Local and regional runs
Requirements
- Class A CDL
- Valid DOT physical and a clean driving record (no DUI or reckless driving violations)
- No failed drug or alcohol tests
- TWIC card required
- At least 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience
- Minimum age 23
- Container hauling experience and HAZMAT endorsement are a plus but not mandatory
