About this job
Our company needs CDL-A drivers for overnight linehaul runs out of Savannah, GA. You'll work no-touch, drop-and-hook freight on a Monday-through-Friday schedule and be home every day after your shift.
Schedule
- Dispatch windows available: 10:00 PM-1:00 AM or 12:00 AM-3:00 AM
- Runs Monday through Friday
- You're back home after each shift, every day
- Overnight driving means lighter traffic and a steady routine
Pay
- Weekly average runs $1,300-$1,600
- Guaranteed minimum of $250 for each day you work
- Starting rate is $0.60 per mile

- Current driver rates range from $0.60 to $0.72 per mile depending on performance and tenure

Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum six months of recent tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must meet FedEx Ground's driving standards
- Must pass a road test and background checks
- Doubles/Triples endorsement required, or willingness to get one
- Safe, reliable, and comfortable driving overnight shifts
