About this job
Our company needs a CDL-A driver for an overnight, home-daily route out of Savannah, GA. You'll run Sunday through Thursday, with Friday and Saturday nights off, hauling no-touch, drop-and-hook freight.
Schedule
- Works Sunday through Thursday
- Dispatch happens between 9:00 PM and midnight
- You're home every day
- Friday and Saturday nights are yours
What you'll haul
- No-touch freight, drop-and-hook
Pay
- Averages $1,300.00-$1,600.00 per week
- Guaranteed minimum of $250 for each day you work
- Starts at $0.60 per mile
- Rates climb to as much as $0.72 per mile through the Driver Performance Program, based on your performance and tenure
- Your rate can go up weekly as you build a track record for safety and reliability

Requirements
- Current Class A CDL
- Minimum of six months' recent experience driving tractor-trailers
- Must meet FedEx Ground's driving standards
- Must pass a road test and background check
- Doubles/triples endorsement required, or willingness to get one
- Dependable and safety-minded, comfortable owning an overnight shift
