About this job
Our company needs a dependable Class A CDL driver for OTR runs, operating out of the Houston, TX area. You'll be given a truck and trailer and expected to keep it in good shape while staying on the road for extended stretches.
Pay
- Paid on a percentage basis, starting at 25% of the truck's gross revenue
- Weekly income depends on how much the truck earns, with estimated range of $1,500.00 to $2,500.00 per week
What you'll haul
- OTR freight with steady work and dispatch support throughout your trips
- Daily shower access and drinks provided while on the road
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 2 years of verifiable OTR experience
- Clean driving record (MVR) and solid safety history
- Current DOT medical card
- Able to pass drug and alcohol testing
- Comfortable with extended OTR trips away from home
- Strong communication with dispatch
- Careful, thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Commitment to keeping the truck and trailer well maintained
Texas-based drivers are preferred for this role.
