About this job
Our company needs experienced CDL-A drivers for OTR runs based out of the Lawrence, MA area, with weekly trips home. Pay is a percentage of each load, and you'll be hauling 53' dry van freight across multiple states.
Pay
- Compensation is a percentage of each load you haul
- Drivers can see roughly $2,000 to $2,700 weekly, depending on freight volume and your performance
- Payroll runs weekly
- Extra bonuses available: clean DOT inspection bonus, fuel efficiency bonus, and a driver referral bonus
- Performance-based bonus and a signing bonus also offered

What you'll haul
- Dry van trailers, 53 feet
- Steady, consistent OTR freight with reliable mileage
- Routes cover multiple states
What the job involves
- Driving a Class A tractor-trailer safely over the road
- Picking up and delivering loads across state lines
- Doing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
- Keeping ELD logs and paperwork current
- Staying in touch with dispatch on pickups, drop-offs, timing, and any delays
- Following DOT and FMCSA safety rules, plus customer site procedures
- Taking care of the company's equipment
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT medical card
- OTR tractor-trailer experience is preferred
- Clean enough driving record to meet company standards
- Must satisfy DOT/FMCSA qualifications
- Must pass drug and alcohol testing
- Able to handle 53' dry van equipment
- Dependable, professional, safety-minded
