About this job
Our company needs seasoned Class A OTR drivers to haul dry van freight between Wisconsin and the Northeast, with a predictable schedule that gets you home every weekend. This is a steady, established lane with a regular customer base behind it.
Pay
- Starts at $0.71 CPM, and most drivers bring home between $100,000 and $120,000 a year
- You're also paid extra for things like detention time, breakdowns, stops, and other accessorial work
Home time
- Back home on weekends, with about 2 days off every week
What you'll haul
- Dry van trailers pulled by sleeper cab tractors
- Consistent loads from long-standing customers, running mainly from Wisconsin into Pennsylvania and nearby Northeast states
Requirements
- Current Class A CDL
- 6+ months of tractor-trailer experience is preferred, though newer drivers can get trained up through a Wisconsin-based program
- Comfortable with OTR runs that include nights away from home
- A solid track record for safe, on-time hauls
