CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — Home Every 2 Weeks, $1,200–$1,800/wk Avg

Run OTR for a major nationwide carrier, covering 27 states from Colorado east, minus the Northeast. You'll be out for 2 weeks at a time before coming home to reset. New drivers with less experience are welcome through a paid training program.

Pay

• Experienced drivers earn $0.59-$0.74 per mile based on experience, plus $15 per stop

• Weekly average runs $1,200-$1,800

• Expect 1,800-2,200 miles per week

• Monthly bonuses for safety and on-time performance

• Trainees get a flat $650 per week during the 4-6 week training period, with exact pay depending on your verifiable experience

Home time

• Out for 2 weeks, then home to reset

What you'll haul

• No-touch freight with live load/unload, preloads, and drop and hook

• Routes run like standard OTR, keeping you within 27 states east of Denver, CO (excluding the New England states)

Equipment

• Late-model automatic Freightliner Cascadias

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean record

• At least 6 months of Class A tractor-trailer (53') experience within the past year, not counting school, dump truck, straight truck, or garbage truck time - or come on as a trainee if you have less than 6 months

• No terminations from your last driving job

• Your CDL address must match the hiring area

• Must pass a hair follicle drug screen (no SAP drivers)
