About this job
Our company, a trucking company with 7 years in the industry and a fleet of 33+ trucks, is hiring 1-3 CDL Class A drivers for over-the-road runs. Both experienced drivers and recent CDL graduates are welcome. Most of the freight is drop-and-hook, so you'll spend more time driving and less time loading or unloading.
Schedule
- OTR routes with 5 consecutive days on the road, then 2 days off
Pay
- Up to $1,400.00 per week
What you'll haul
- Mostly drop-and-hook loads, keeping touch freight to a minimum
- Automatic transmission trucks
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Able to communicate in English; Spanish speakers also welcome to apply
- Experience driving automatic transmission commercial trucks
- Available for the 5-on/2-off OTR schedule
- Clean, safe driving history
- Follows all DOT rules and traffic laws at every level
- Comfortable completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Dependable, punctual, and good with time management
- Professional communicator with dispatch, customers, and vendors
- Must pass DOT drug screening and background checks where required
