CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — $85,000–$90,000/Year, Reefer Freight

Our company is hiring CDL-A over-the-road drivers to haul refrigerated loads like meat and ice cream across the lower 48 states. This company has over 60 years in business and offers steady miles with a mix of drop-and-hook and live loading.

Pay

• $85,000 to $90,000 per year, averaging around $90K

• A $0.02 per mile raise kicks in after your first 90 days

• $50 bonus for East coast runs

• $40 charge per billable stop

• $1,500 bonus for referrals

Home time

Expect to run all 48 lower states, typically out 14 to 17 days with 2 days home, though this varies depending on where you're based.

What you'll haul

You'll run 2,000 to 2,500 miles weekly, with loading and unloading split about 50/50 between drop-and-hook and live load/unload.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 21 years old

• One year of tractor-trailer driving experience within the recent past

• No more than one violation in the past 3 years, and no serious violations, suspensions or DUIs in the past 5 years

• No more than 3 driving jobs held in the last year

• Able to pass a DOT physical, drug screen and medical exam
