CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — $1,725/Week, No-Touch Freight

This OTR run out of the San Antonio area pays $1,725 a week and keeps you out of the freight itself. You'll run about 2,000 miles weekly across the lower 48, mostly east of I-35, in a newer assigned truck, then head home for scheduled time off.

Pay

• $1,725 weekly average

• $0.49 to $0.60 per mile, depending on your experience

• $7,500 sign-on bonus (conditions apply)

• Extra loyalty pay once you hit 12 months

• Direct deposit every week

• Detention pay of $12.50 per hour after the first 2 hours

• $100 per day if you're stuck on a layover or breakdown

Schedule and home time

Expect roughly 12 days on the road followed by 2 days at home, though you can request a different schedule if that rhythm doesn't work for you. Your dispatcher lines up a load before you ever leave home, and support is available around the clock.

What you'll haul

All freight is no-touch. You'll drive a 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth that's assigned specifically to you.

Requirements

• Class A CDL issued by your home state, minimum age 21

• Verifiable recent OTR experience with a Class A CDL

• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years

• No DUI or DWI within the past 5 years

• Must pass a DOT physical along with hair and urine drug screening
