CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — $1,500–$5,000/Week

Our company in Worcester, MA is looking for an experienced CDL-A driver for over-the-road freight hauling. You'll handle tractor-trailers and may work with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers and other specialized equipment, including loads that require hazmat handling.

Pay

• $1,500.00 - $5,000.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Freight over long-distance OTR routes

• Refrigerated, flatbed, tanker and other specialized trailers as needed

• Includes hazardous materials and dangerous goods, secured per regulations

Responsibilities

• Drive manual-transmission tractor-trailers safely, following DOT and FMCSA rules

• Load and unload cargo by hand, securing it properly

• Use GPS tools to plan routes and keep deliveries on schedule

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, checking for mechanical or safety problems

• Keep accurate logs, delivery paperwork and reports

• Stay in contact with dispatch to coordinate schedules and routing

Requirements

• CDL-A license with solid commercial driving experience

• Comfortable operating manual transmission trucks

• Knowledge of hazmat rules, refrigerated trailer handling and DOT/FMCSA safety standards

• Strong, clean driving record for long-haul tractor-trailer work

• Skilled at loading and unloading different freight types, including flatbed and tanker loads
