About this job
Our company is looking for Class A drivers for over-the-road routes, with paid training for recent CDL grads. Pay runs $1,300 to $1,500 per week, hauling steady, safe freight.
Pay
- $1,300 to $1,500 per week
- Average 2,500 to 3,200 miles weekly
Home time
- 2 weeks on the road followed by 2 days at home
Training
- New CDL grads get paid OTR training paired with a driver mentor, plus paid orientation
What you'll do
- Run a Class A tractor trailer on long-haul routes
- Complete required pre-trip and other inspections
- Keep logs and trip paperwork accurate
- Deliver loads safely and on time
- Stay in regular contact with dispatch and driver managers
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL, minimum age 21
- CDL school certificate showing at least 120 hours of training
- Clean driving record and background check
- Able to pass a DOT drug screen
- Drivers with 6+ months of OTR or regional experience qualify as experienced drivers
