CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — $0.75–$0.85/Mile

Our company in Waveland, MS is looking for a CDL-A driver to run over-the-road freight, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds and tankers. You'll handle diverse loads and routes while keeping everything safe and on schedule.

Pay

• $0.75 to $0.85 per mile

What you'll haul

• Tractor-trailers in multiple configurations: reefer, flatbed and tanker

• General freight as well as hazardous materials, handled per hazmat rules

• Mix of local runs and long-haul OTR lanes

What the job involves

• Loading, securing and unloading freight by hand, following proper cargo procedures

• Planning routes with GPS and staying within DOT hours-of-service limits

• Doing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks and keeping accurate logs for FMCSA compliance

• Keeping dispatch and customers updated on delivery progress or any delays

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A with a clean driving record

• Experience driving different trailer types (reefer, flatbed, tanker)

• Solid understanding of FMCSA, DOT and hazmat safety rules

• Comfortable using GPS systems for route planning

• OTR driving experience

• Able to safely load and unload freight by hand

• Strong driving skills in varied weather and road conditions
