CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — $0.55–$0.75 per Mile

Our company is looking for an experienced CDL-A driver to haul refrigerated and general freight over the road across varied routes. You'll run tractor-trailers and may work with specialized equipment, keeping deliveries safe, on time, and compliant with federal rules.

Pay

• $0.55 - $0.75 per mile

What you'll haul

• Refrigerated trailers and general cargo

• Possible work with flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks or roll-off trucks

• May include hazardous materials, handled per regulation

What the job involves

• Operating tractor-trailers and other equipment safely on long-haul routes

• Planning efficient routes using GPS

• Loading, securing and unloading freight, by hand or with a forklift when needed

• Following FMCSA and DOT rules on hours of service, vehicle upkeep and hazmat handling

• Doing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks

• Keeping dispatch updated on progress and any delays

• Logging your hours and delivery paperwork accurately

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license

• Clean driving record (MVR)

• OTR or long-distance driving experience

• Experience with refrigerated, flatbed, tanker or similar specialized equipment is a plus

• Working knowledge of FMCSA hours-of-service, maintenance and hazmat rules

• Comfortable using GPS navigation on the road

• Able to safely load and unload freight manually or by forklift

• Understanding of DOT rules for commercial driving and hazmat transport
