CDL-A OTR Trainee Driver — No Experience Required — $800/Week Average

Swift Transportation is looking for new CDL-A holders out of Las Vegas, NV to join a paid OTR training program. You'll run with an experienced mentor to build real-world driving skills before moving into a solo seat.

Pay

• Average weekly pay during training is $800 (wage range listed is $800.00-$800.00 per week)

• Once you finish training and upgrade to solo, you're guaranteed at least $1,000 per week for your first 90 days as an OTR Company Driver (terms apply - ask a recruiter for the full details)

• After solo upgrade, pay shifts to the trip, hourly, or daily rate that applies to your position

• Vacation pay starts at $800 after one year on the job

Home time

• Home time is on a monthly basis

Training

• You'll be paired with an experienced driver mentor for hands-on OTR training

• No prior driving experience is needed - just your CDL-A

• Support includes backing practice to sharpen your skills, plus access to modern trucks, a nationwide support network, and a newer fueling network with free showers at select stops

• Finishing the program successfully opens the door to further career advancement

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and at least 21 years old

• No DUI in the past 10 years for CDL-A holders (5 years for non-CDL-A holders)

• No more than one on-road or DOT-preventable loss in the last 2 years, no more than 3 preventable accidents in that span, and no major preventable accidents in the last 5 years

• No serious traffic violations in the past year, and no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years

• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen

• No drug-related conviction in the past 5 years, and no illegal drug use or positive/refused tests in the past 10 years for CDL-A/CLP holders
