About this job
Our company LLC is looking for a CDL-A driver to start out team driving over-the-road, with the goal of moving into a solo OTR seat after training. You'll haul dry van freight nationwide in a 53-foot trailer, full-time.
Pay
- $1,500.00 - $2,500.00 per week
How the role works
- You'll spend roughly 3-4 weeks paired with an experienced driver, learning company processes, equipment, freight handling and routes.
- The first couple of weeks focus on orientation: getting comfortable with procedures, equipment, trip planning, fuel management and time management across regional and nationwide runs.
- The next couple of weeks shift toward solo readiness: planning trips on your own, handling pickups and deliveries efficiently, and finishing up with a final safety and driving check.
- Once you pass that evaluation, you move into your own solo OTR truck. Exact timing depends on how you perform and how ready you are.
What you'll haul
- Dry van freight, coast to coast, in a 53-foot trailer.
What the job involves
- Driving a Class A tractor-trailer safely across the country.
- Riding and working with a trainer-partner during the team phase.
- Hitting pickup and delivery windows.
- Doing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks.
- Keeping electronic logs accurate and staying within DOT hours-of-service rules.
- Staying in professional contact with dispatch, brokers and customers.
- Securing loads properly and keeping the truck clean.
- Showing up on time, driving safely, and taking care of the equipment.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Meets DOT medical and driver qualification standards.
- Clean enough driving record to pass review.
- Able to pass DOT drug and alcohol testing.
- Willing to be on the road nationwide for extended stretches.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Comfortable working alongside another driver during the training weeks.
- Newer CDL holders are welcome to reach out; experience and eligibility are considered case by case.
What you get
- 3-4 weeks of paid hands-on team training.
- A path to your own solo truck afterward.
- Nationwide dry van miles.
- Help with route planning and day-to-day operations.
- Room to grow long-term with the company.
- A workplace that emphasizes professionalism and safety.
Who fits this role
