CDL-A OTR Tanker Driver — Average $1,700–$1,800/Week

Our company needs OTR CDL-A drivers to haul food-grade tanker freight. You'll run around 3,000 miles a week and get paid for every mile, loaded or empty.

Pay

• Average weekly pay of $1,700-$1,800 on 3,000 weekly miles

• All miles paid, loaded and empty

• $200 paid for resets taken on the road

• Extra $200 for paid holidays

• Weekly paychecks

• New to driving? Entry-level OTR pay starts at $.51-$.52 CPM, and 95% of drivers earn an added $.05 CPM monthly safety bonus, bringing it to $.56-$.57 CPM

Home time

• Expect to be out 14-18 days per trip

What you'll haul

• Food-grade tanker freight

• Running 2023 and newer Peterbilt, Kenworth and Freightliner trucks, both automatic and manual

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A

• Must meet DOT standards

• Tanker experience is a plus but not mandatory

• Entry-level drivers need a CDL-A and under a year of verified experience, plus willingness to be out 2-3 weeks and a strong safety mindset

• Recent CDL grads must have finished school within the past 90 days
