CDL-A OTR Tanker Driver — Average $1,700–$1,800/Week

Our company is looking for OTR CDL-A drivers to haul food-grade tanker freight, with consistent miles and newer equipment. This is a new operation backed by decades of experience in transportation and dairy.

Pay

• Average $1,700–$1,800 a week, based on 3,000 weekly miles

• All miles paid, both loaded and empty

• $200 paid for resets taken on the road

• An extra $200 for holidays worked

• Paid out weekly

Home time

• Expect to be out 14–18 days at a stretch

• Flexible options for getting home

What you'll haul

• Food-grade tanker freight

• Newer trucks (2023 and up) from Peterbilt, Kenworth and Freightliner

• Both automatic and manual transmissions in the fleet

Entry-level path

If you're newer to driving, CORE48 also has OTR openings for you:

• Pay starts at $.51–$.52 per mile

• 95% of drivers earn an added $.05 per mile monthly safety bonus, bringing pay to $.56–$.57 per mile

• Open to CDL-A holders with under a year of verifiable experience

• You should be willing to stay out 2–3 weeks and keep safety a priority

For owner-operators

If rising fuel and maintenance costs have you ready to step away from owning your truck, CORE48 welcomes owner-operators looking to return to company driving.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A

• If you're a recent grad, must have finished school within the last 90 days

• Tanker experience preferred

• Must meet DOT requirements
