About this job
Our company is looking for CDL-A company drivers in Alpharetta, GA for a dedicated OTR solo role. You'll run steady freight on east-southern state lanes and get home every week.
Pay
- $1,400.00-$1,500.00 per week, paid weekly
- Optional per diem of $70/day
- $500 paid orientation
- Layover pay of $80/day
- Detention pay of $20/hour after the first 2 hours
- $20 multi-stop pay per stop
- Bonus and performance pay opportunities also available
Home time
- You'll be home weekly
What you'll haul
- Dry van and reefer trailers, running about 2,400-2,600 miles a week
- Average haul length is around 500 miles
- About 90% of loads are drop and hook, and about 100% is no-touch freight
- Routes mainly cover the east-southern states
Responsibilities
- Drive a CDL-A dry van tractor-trailer on assigned dedicated lanes
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections as DOT requires
- Keep your ELD logs and paperwork accurate and up to date
- Follow DOT rules, Illinois state regulations and the company's safety policies
- Deliver your loads on schedule
Requirements
- Current CDL-A license
- At least 21 years old
- Live within 50 miles of Alpharetta, GA
- Able to pass a DOT physical exam and pre-employment drug test
- Clean driving record with safe habits
- New CDL graduates welcome; no prior experience required
