About this job
Our company needs Class A CDL drivers, solo or team, for dedicated dry van hook-drop runs out of Indianapolis, IN. You'll run headhaul and backhaul round trips across the country in newer equipment, with dispatch available around the clock.
Pay
- Solo drivers: $0.55 to $0.60 per mile, based on your experience
- Team drivers: $0.75 per mile, based on experience
- Direct deposit weekly
- Refer someone who gets hired and earn a $250 bonus
What you'll haul
- Dedicated dry van freight, hook-drop setup, running headhaul and backhaul lanes round trip
Equipment
- Freightliner Cascadia and Volvo trucks, model years 2022-2027
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Current Class A CDL with the needed endorsements
What the job involves
- Driving in line with DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Loading, unloading and strapping down your freight
- Mapping out efficient routes to hit your delivery windows
- Doing pre- and post-trip inspections and basic upkeep on your rig
- Keeping dispatch, customers and your team updated
