About this job
Our company Inc. hires CDL-A drivers for over-the-road refrigerated freight. Choose the setup that fits you: solo, team, or owner-operator with your own truck. This is 1099 independent contractor work paid as a percentage of gross load revenue.
Pay
- Solo drivers: 30% of gross load revenue per load, using company equipment.
- Team drivers: 35% of gross load revenue, split between the team, also on company equipment.
- Owner-operators: 88% of gross load revenue per load, running your own truck and leasing a reefer trailer through our company Inc.
- Pay runs Monday through Monday, with direct deposit every Friday.
- Posted weekly pay range: $3,600.00 - $5,000.00.
What you'll haul
- Refrigerated freight, with an assigned reefer trailer provided for company equipment.
- Company trucks are newer Freightliner, Volvo, or Kenworth models, governed at 73-75 mph.
Home time
- Typical rotation is 3 weeks on the road followed by 1 week home, though longer stretches may be offered.
- Terminals are based in Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York, but drivers can be based anywhere in the U.S.
Costs to know
- A $125 monthly occupational insurance fee applies for drivers using company trucks.
- Owner-operators should ask about any other costs tied to running their own truck and leasing a trailer.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A.
- Clean driving record and a solid safety mindset.
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are preferred but not required upfront; you can add them later if you don't have them yet.
