CDL-A OTR Reefer Driver — $1500+ Weekly Average, Out 2-3 Weeks

Run OTR reefer freight for a major nationwide carrier, covering all 48 states on a 2-3 week out, 2-3 day home schedule. Freight is drop and hook or live load/unload, with no touch required.

Pay

• Mileage pay scales up with experience, starting at $0.45 cpm for 0-5 months and rising through tiers to $0.555 cpm once you reach 121-300 months

• Weekly wage range runs $1500.00 to $1550.00

• Weekly average is $1500+ and yearly average is $78,380

• Paid out by weekly direct deposit

Home time

• Expect to be out 2-3 weeks at a stretch, with 2-3 days at home between runs

What you'll haul

• Reefer trailers (53') on nationwide lanes across all 48 states

• Freight is handled drop and hook or live load/unload, so you won't be touching freight yourself

Equipment

• New automatic Freightliner Cascadias

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 3 months of experience with a 53' tractor trailer within the past year

• Your CDL address needs to match the hiring area

• SAP drivers are not accepted, and drug screening is done by hair follicle test
