CDL-A OTR Reefer Driver — $0.43–$0.58/Mile, Monthly Home Time

Swift Transportation's Gary, IN terminal is looking for OTR refrigerated drivers based out of Indianapolis, IN. You'll run coast-to-coast with a mix of load options.

Pay

• Trip pay runs $0.43 to $0.58 per mile, based on dispatched miles, route and your verifiable experience

• Top 25% of Reefer OTR drivers at the Gary terminal bring home an average of $1325 a week

• Paychecks issued weekly

• Driver Performance Bonus included

• Starting July 13, 2026, eligible OTR company drivers get a guaranteed minimum of $1,000 a week for their first 90 days of solo driving (terms and conditions apply - ask a recruiter for the full program details)

Home time

• Home once a month

What you'll haul

• Refrigerated freight, over-the-road

• Access to more than 30 terminals across 25 states

Requirements

• At least 21 years old with a valid Class A license

• No DUI in the past 10 years for CDL-A holders, or past 5 years for non-CDL-A holders

• No more than 1 on-road or DOT preventable loss in the last 2 years, no more than 3 preventable accidents in that span, and no major preventable accidents in the last 5 years

• No serious traffic violations in the past year, and no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years

• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen, with no drug-related conviction in the last 5 years and no illegal drug use or positive/refused tests in the past 10 years for CDL-A/CLP holders

• Strong backing skills

• Some holiday work possible
