About this job
Our company is looking for experienced OTR flatbed drivers to run their newer Freightliner Cascadias, hauling flatbed freight with occasional reefer loads. Drivers stay out on the road for extended stretches and get support from a dispatch team along with 24/7 roadside assistance.
Pay
- Earn up to $0.80 per practical mile, including deadhead miles
- Extra pay for tarping and additional stops
- Weekly mileage is guaranteed at 2,500+ miles
- Annual pay is listed as $60,000–$90,000
What you'll haul
- Flatbed freight, with tarping required on many loads
- Some runs use refrigerated trailers, so you'll need to manage temperature settings
Schedule
- Over-the-road work with trips lasting at least 3-4 weeks before coming back
Requirements
- Valid CDL with at least 6 months of driving experience
- Clean driving record, background check, drug screen and clearinghouse result
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Able to lift 90-100 pound tarps up to platforms 5-7 feet high
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on the road
