Requirements
- Current Class A CDL
- Comfortable handling a truck safely and attentively
- Familiar with road and safety rules for commercial driving
- Able to spot equipment issues during inspections
- Good at managing time and tracking your route
- Professional communicator
- Capable of working solo while out on the road
What you'll do
- Drive long-haul routes in a commercial truck
- Move freight in a dry van trailer
- Carry out pre-trip and post-trip checks
- Keep freight secured in transit
- Stick to traffic and commercial driving laws
- Keep trip and delivery records accurate
- Report any route or delivery problems professionally
