About this job
Our company is hiring Class A drivers to run over-the-road freight routes as part of a two-person team. You split the driving and trip work with your teammate, and the company says it will train drivers who have no prior truck-driving experience.
Pay
- $2,000.00 - $3,500.00 per week
Schedule and home time
- Out on the road 5-7 days at a time
- Home weekly
What you'll do
- Drive tractor-trailers on OTR routes, coordinating shifts with your team driver
- Plan routes and make deliveries using GPS navigation and dispatch instructions, and raise any route or schedule problems
- Keep cargo secure and handle it carefully so customers get their freight on time and in good condition
- Stay in line with FMCSA and DOT rules
Requirements
- Valid qualifications for commercial truck driving and safe driving habits
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States
- Prior driving experience is a plus but not needed
