CDL-A OTR Dry Van Driver — Home Bi-Weekly, Avg $1,600/Week

Swift Transportation has a dedicated OTR CDL-A opening based out of Denver, CO, running freight in the Central US for a big-box customer. Expect consistent, predictable loads on a set lane, with time off every two weeks.

Pay

• Average weekly earnings around $1,600

• $15 stop pay

• Driver performance bonus

• Trip pay figured on dispatched miles, starting at $0.50 per mile depending on route and experience

• Wage range listed as $0.50 to $0.50 per mile

• New drivers guaranteed at least $1,000 per week for their first 90 days solo under the Guaranteed Pay Plus+ program, starting July 13, 2026 (ask a recruiter about the full terms)

• Vacation pay starts at $800 after your first year

• Bi-weekly home time on this dedicated account

What you'll haul

• Dry van freight for a big-box retail customer, running a dedicated lane through the Central US

• Night driving is part of the job

Requirements

• Class A CDL, minimum age 21

• New drivers welcome; training provided

• Strong backing skills needed

• No DUI in the past 10 years for CDL-A holders (5 years for non-CDL-A holders)

• No more than one on-road or DOT-preventable loss in the last 2 years, no more than 3 preventable accidents in that span, and no major preventable accidents in the last 5 years

• No serious traffic violations in the past year, and no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years

• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen, with no drug-related conviction in the last 5 years and no illegal drug use or failed/refused tests in the last 10 years as a CDL-A or CLP holder
